Speech-Language Therapy
At Grateful Healing, LLC-Pediatric Speech Therapy, 0wner and therapist, Melissa, specializes in helping children who need extra support to develop meaningful expressive language. This includes (but is not limited to): autistic and/or apraxic children, globally delayed children, and children with other learning and/or language disabilities. Her experience also includes supporting children who are gestalt language processors, and children who use speech generating apps and/or devices.
During therapy sessions, Melissa employs a play-based, child-led therapy approach to elicit growth of expressive and receptive language. Her speech-language therapy sessions are fun, engaging, personalized, and dynamic. As a neurodiversity-affirming SLP, she does not use any compliance or reward-based therapy techniques.
Grateful Healing, LLC accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA insurance plans. Invoices are provided for those seeking reimbursement from insurance carriers other than BCBS of MA.
