Meet Melissa
Melissa is a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience helping children who are struggling to develop expressive language. Her engaging, play-based, child-led approach to therapy allows her to support children and help them find their voices to the best of their ability, all while having fun!
Melissa has extensive experience working with autistic children. As a neurodiversity-affirming SLP, she does not use any compliance or reward-based therapy techniques.
Melissa continues to expand her knowledge and experience in speech-language pathology, particularly in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems that provide children with access to a robust vocabulary. She is looking forward to working with you and your child.
